French Air Car

The air car has always drawn the attention of common man. An air car runs on a technology where the engine of the car uses compressed air. An air car does not run on gasoline. The French air car came into being in the early twentieth century.

Guy Negre, a French engineer who was involved with Formula One previously, had laid the foundation of a company that would manufacture air cars. This marked the introduction of the French air car. This car was immediately popular as it had an upper hand over the conventional cars whose engines were powered by gasoline or other fuels.

Opting for an air car showed that the owner was a responsible citizen of this planet. The air car helps in reducing the air pollution. It has minimal carbon dioxide emission. Using an air car saves a lot of money as air replaces gasoline.

It is a misconception that the speed of the car is lower because of the use of compressed air. Breaking all myths, the air car has been seen to have a speed that crosses 90 miles per hour. The air car has enough room for six people as well as luggage. Inspite of the many advantages of the air car it is not unaffordable. In fact you will have to cough up an amount that is relatively lower than a conventional car.

The forte of a French air car is the special motor that claims to emit zero pollution. This motor is popularly called the Zero Pollution Motors. The car uses a special engine called Compressed Air Engine that had been manufactured in the Motor Development International Company. Guy Negre had been working on engines for fifteen long years and had invented this special Compressed Air Engine.

This concept of the Compressed Air Engine and the Zero Pollution Motors had been borrowed and used all over the United States after its increasing popularity in France. The high demand of the French air car prompted Guy Negre to manufacture it commercially. The introduction of the French air car in the global car market had raised many eyebrows.

In an air car the air is accumulated in a tank made of glass fiber or carbon. It is essential to maintain a pressure if 4351 pounds per square inch. An air injector does the job of letting this compressed air enter into the engine. The air is then sent to a tiny chamber, where the air is allowed to expand. The crankshaft of the car is moved as the air forces itself against the piston. This lets the car move forward.

French air cars have become the talk of the town because of its decreased air pollution level. The air car will be officially launched in the United States by the end of 2009.
